I have traded equities and commodity derivatives for over 15 years. Markets teach you two things quickly: decisions made under pressure are only as good as the information behind them, and too much of a working day goes on gathering that information by hand.

I write about the first lesson in my books on trading psychology. The second is why I build AI systems. I use them every week in my own research and publishing, and I now design and build them for other businesses: research, reporting, analysis and operations that run reliably, with people reviewing the output rather than producing it.
