Who I am

Peter Glancy, trading as a sole trader in the United Kingdom, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and by email. I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number ZC280285. Contact: hello@peterglancy.com.

What I collect

This website has no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Fonts are served from this website, not from a third party. If you use the contact form or email me, I receive your name, email address, company if you give it, and anything you choose to include in your message. Form messages are delivered to my inbox through Cloudflare, which hosts this website.

Why I use it

• To reply to your enquiry. The lawful basis is my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me.
• To quote for, deliver and invoice work. The lawful basis is taking steps to enter into, or performing, a contract with you.
• To keep financial records. The lawful basis is my legal obligation to keep business records.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept in a separate folder and deleted 12 months after the last contact. Client records are kept for as long as UK tax rules require.

Who I share it with

I do not sell your information. It is held with the hosting, email and business software providers I use to run my business, including Cloudflare and Google, under their data protection terms. I do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or object to how I use it. Email hello@peterglancy.com and I will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, please contact me first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
